madness410 12-10-2008 01:41 AM

did u try a regular inspection station yet though?

no one is gonna freely give up info to places that will pass you illegally on an open web forum.

at least if they are smart they wouldnt.

if anything, just wait for a PM or 2 from any members that see this, or try to find one locally by word of mouth and close friends.

MonmouthCtyAntz 12-10-2008 09:14 AM

I doubt anyone will inspect you, or give you any info of where to..Big trouble if the inspection ever leads back to them along w/ the loss of there license

BonzoHansen 12-10-2008 09:22 AM

I have stock cats&y-pipe from a 99 Z28 I'll sell you!

LTb1ow 12-10-2008 12:54 PM

Is it stock internally? If so, why in the world did you remove the cat(s)?

Teds89IROC 12-10-2008 01:33 PM

He probably bought it that way

sweetbmxrider 12-10-2008 05:37 PM

For the price of a few tickets you can probably buy a setup to get you through inspection. Then you just swap it out.

dude who hasnt removed cats on a vehicle before? pretty much everybody ive seen on the forums does it. LTs, ORY, catback. thats a basic mod right there

LTb1ow 03-09-2009 10:58 AM

Never did till I threw LTs on and was to poor to have cats welded in. No one but Kooks makes a catted LT1 Y pipe for LTs....

sweetbmxrider 03-09-2009 06:18 PM

when i put on my catback i found my cat was hollow  had to fix that.

creeper 03-09-2009 10:57 PM

cats? ohhh...those...i must have...misplaced them...accidentally...:shifty:

might actually be picking up some high flow ones this week. $50 shipped for 2. they're only supposed to take away 5 or 6 hp on a lightly modded car and they restore some low end torque. don't have to get inspected for another year and half so i don't know if i'll put em in right away but at least i'll have em.

and not getting inspected doesn't seem very smart. a friend of mine got pulled over 3 times in ONE DAY for his inspection. wouldn't last very long around here with no inspection haha.

Mike 03-09-2009 11:54 PM

big brother or his buddy the man might see this thread......

NJ Torque 03-09-2009 11:57 PM

wont pass anywhere like that

NJSPEEDER 03-10-2009 12:16 AM

Everyone who posted is pretty much right on. No one is going to discuss illegal inspections on a forum. It puts the shops at too much risk. They spend thousands on equipment and training to do inspections and it can cost them their license and thousands in fines if they get caught cheating.
