i got up to go to work this morning and ill tell you what it wasnt a good day for me i slipped down the steps, and on my way down the road i crossed over the turnpike bridge and lost complete control of the z because of it being froze over. im glad i use to mess around in field cars when i was younger becuase she went side to side and i got her stopped before i slammed into the guard rail and a car that hit the guard rail on the side of the road.

No reason to be going out in the icy conditions. It's not worth it to get hurt, total your car or hurt someone else. Our driveway was pure ice this morning but the sun helped melt it and dry it out. I almost took a header on the patio and the dog had trouble making a left turn on it.

i've taken my car out a couple times over the last few days. only driven in thin snow and on slush so it hasn't been that bad. hoping i don't have to drive in snow a whole lot more though.

emolineaux 12-21-2008 06:54 PM

yeah goofing off in an open snow covered parking lot is awesome. it pays off, saved me several times to avoid an accident.

I got my Jeep stuck for the first time yesterday....bit off a little more than it could handle, got stuck on top of a plow dump snow mound. needless to say my bro and his jeep had to come get me out. I mean the jeep was buried to the frame in snow and the tires were just spinning. Until that point it was awesome.

Took the truck to an empty parking lot to see how the back end slides and how to save it. It was easier then I expected.
Other then that, the roads were fine by me.

ive had the TA out thru out all the storms this past weekend, i got stuck and needed a push twice, both times AFTER the storm on the stupid frozen slush compounded streets
