what was the best thing and the worst thing in your life in 2008?

for me the best was getting my car into the 8's :mrgreen:

the worst was haveing to put my favorite pet to sleep:-x

Best- Getting my Z28 and modding it. Also, my 12 second pass 2 weeks ago :D

Worst-had to come in November. Hit a deer on the way to Atco. Then a week later, some lady stopped short in front of me and I tapped her. No damage to either car other than the deer damage that was still on the Z.

Best: 90 Laps at Hickory Speedway in a Street Stock/NY Giants Super bowl Champs.

Worst: Getting laid off, breaking up with gf of 2 1/2 years.

BEST: getting a 4th gen. WORST: grandmother passing away

Best: spending random weekends, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas with a female friend who grew a lot closer to me, and made me realize some new things.

Worst: saying good bye to that same girl and others when i left NJ to come back here to await our flight out for deployment in 5 days.

Best: Getting married to my beautiful wife.
Worst: Her double hip replacement surgery and the recovery

Best: Getting the trans am / living in the appartment and going to school
Worst: Selling the 3rd gen that i will miss

Best: Hitting 12's in the LS1.

There were many ups and downs this year for me. From putting our dog down to spending the first xmas with Jen. Memorial Day weekend was one of my favorite times this year. Riding down on LBI and all over That was fun.

best: getting the z28/turning 21 :cheers:

worst: loosing the license for pretty much all of 09

Best: nothing stands out as a best thing, everything was pretty even
Worst: having to put our dog of 13 years down, and my 401K is losing 40% this year so I guess I won't be retiring any time soon(not that I planned on it)

Best: My mom got through her cancer treatments and is in remission, my brother has his liver condition under control, the coolest nephew on the planet turned 1 year old(yes Justin, I am talking about Jack)

Worst: Lost my job

Overall I will take any one of my three bests and call them better than my one worst. Good year, just had a ****** ending. Just means a big come back in 2009.

Best would definitely be this trip, I don't want to leave and I can't wait to come back. I don't have a care in the world other than that i'm on dial up right now haha

I'm not sure what I would have as the worst.. 2008 has been pretty good to me.

Best: going to london to see zep (end of 07 but close enough), finishing the deck, carlisle/GM nats

Worst: my wife's grandmother died, we almost lost my dad, watching many good folks I work with lose their jobs over the year and the dark cloud that still hovers over the place. And cancelling power tour 2009 plans.

2008 ended poorly, let's hope 2009 ends better.

Best: Graduating College / Knowing that I am close to having the car back on the road.

Worst: Having the hardest time trying to find a real job and trying to make ends meet with the one I currently have.

Best... i think i finished bergen(they wont return my emails!!). Got my 95Z to look perfect. Bought the car ive always wanted(the TA). Got 2 Awesome part time jobs that ive learned so much at...waiting for full time in 09

Worst.... sold my 95Z after getting it to look perfect! ****innnn girl drama lol

Worst-not being able to work for 4 months

Best - Almost done with BCC, off to real school next winter

Best: selling our house for a profit in a horrible market, buying a wonderful house that needed NO work whatsoever, and getting a new job without full credentials yet (though it starts in 09, but I was offerred it in Oct) in a horrible economy. And, having a new addition to the family (the kitty cat, lol)

Worst: James' 2 surgeries, the accident, and all of the recovery time from them.

2009 is looking much brighter though, that's for sure!
