chrisfrom nj 01-06-2009 12:43 PM

ask the jew he probably has spare t-5 parts sitting around

WildBillyT 01-06-2009 12:48 PM

I am 90% sure you can't.

BonzoHansen 01-06-2009 02:03 PM

A 3rd gen T5? I'm 99.99% sure no way.

EchoMirage 01-06-2009 04:06 PM

let me know if you want to get rid of it

ZeroCool8891 01-06-2009 04:42 PM

a lt1 bellhouseing does not fit on a 3rd gen t5, there totely differnt.

deadtrend1 01-06-2009 07:18 PM

I think the way the slave bolts up and works is one of the reasons. I forget, haven't look at a T5 bell housing in like 7 years.

LT1's have a pull-style clutch

ZeroCool8891 01-06-2009 10:29 PM

the way the slave, bellhouseing and trans are totely differnt between both cars i have a t56 in the vert and a t5 in the 91 messed with both know the differnce

That is for a t10, right? Will that work with a T5?

The '83 bellhousing is for mech. linkage with the T5. 1982s had the mech. linkage with a T10.
