Goals for this year?

Since I'm bored at work I figured I would see what everyone's goals are for this year. What does everyone have planned for thier cars?

I'm definitely running the vette when I get back. I'm hopfully shooting for a 12.2-low 12.3 as it sits. I haven't decided if I want to go with a convertor yet, but I'll definitley get a ported tb, pulley, and a new bellows. By the end of the year I want to be at an 11.9.
As far as the T/A I'm going to get the bugs worked out and hopefully run it by the end of the year. Shooting for some 10.9s with that.

I finally bought a rear (Midwest Fabricated 9") and am awaiting its arrival so ill be out finally after 3 years with this thing to make some passes. ill be happy with a 10sec run...10.5 would be nice but im more concerned with trap speeds right now....lookin for 135+.

BlackBADaSS02 01-13-2009 11:11 AM

My goal is to get my drag car finished by the summer and hit 10's with it.

Knipps 01-13-2009 12:45 PM

Get it back on the road! Maybe even pass inspection.

MonmouthCtyAntz 01-13-2009 12:52 PM

Well no track for this car, not a mechanic and refuse to pay someone for stuff that i break beating the heck outta my car...but looking to repaint the car along w/ some black zr1's before spring...performance wise, probably ported tb, ls6 intake, tune, and maybe a stall converter. Dont need to be the fastest guy around, should be satisfied after that (yea right  )

miketa95 01-13-2009 02:10 PM

step one: buy a DD.. maybe a ram?

step two:begin modding my TA. I want to get a cc503 all the supporting stuff, some headers, wheels, paint.

step three: go faster than 13.9

79CamaroDiva 01-13-2009 02:46 PM

New clutch for the 2002, then try to beat the 12.80 from last october.

In the works right now that were goals from a long time ago finally happening, new heads & cam in the race car, some minor chassis modification, maybe a fiberglass body to replace the aluminum one.
ET goal: 7.50s, achievement goals: win one of Atco's $10k Mitchell races, and 1 divisional. More would be nice, but i'll leave it at 1 each :)

My push & shove goal: try and get steve working on his belvedere.

NJ346 01-13-2009 07:39 PM

1: Breaking 12.40's with the car by the end of the year. It's going to be hard, but I think I can pull it off.
2: Last the majority of the year without blowing the rear.
3: Get together with more people from the site.

cdubbzz 01-13-2009 09:43 PM

10.0's would be nice

WayFast84 01-13-2009 09:50 PM

I have a spare 10 bolt sitting in the garage so I'm not too worried. In fact, I may be picking up another 10 bolt real soon lol.

bubba428 01-14-2009 05:53 AM

finish the V6 and anoth V8 car before sumer....and dont kill the cavi

Blackbirdws6 01-18-2009 04:32 PM

- Get the new S60 rear into the Bird.
- Get the Nano working properly.
- Run mid to low 11's

- New intake on the G8 and mayyyyybe a full exhaust. I've already got my 12's for the car but that doesn't mean I will completely stop modding it.

The new house is going to take up a lot of my $$ so I won't be able to do it all. We will see.

LTb1ow 01-18-2009 05:07 PM
