inspection

So since I have tinted windows, I was wondering if when I get my next inspection if I put the windows down then pull the fuse so they wouldn't go back up, would the car still pass without my windows working?

haha no. driver window has to be operational. pull the tint off and have it retinted after the inspection. 3m general purpose adhesive cleaner or brake cleaner will work good. just watch the interior.

Just roll up and put the windows down before they start. There is always the chance they won't say anything. IF they fail you for it, just peal it off and go back. It is at least worth trying not having to buy and install more tint.

I have always seen them roll my windows up a bit to make sure they aren't tinted. During the summer with the weather being hot also.

The tester will definately try the windows. Bring it to a pvt place you'll have a better chance. Or just fix the window motor...$15 ebay...

You know you can just keep failing. You get 45 days then go back on the 46th day and you will be out of the system. I just learned this lol

haha then I guess its worth trying, if it doesn't work i just go home and peal it off and try again.

You can lose your registration and the car will be impounded, I wouldn't chance it...especially just for tint.
