The Bird's hopeful new home.

Showed my in-laws and my Dad the hopeful new diggs. We have a closing date for March 20th and it can't come soon enough. Here are a couple garage pics. More pics will be coming soon but I don't want to jinx anything.

Don't mind the Honda....

It's going to really open up once all the storage stuff is gone.

Should have some room for a few friends to stop over as well!

Ahaha, my gf said "wow...he didnt take any other pictures, only the driveway and the garage..."

I said "uh..yeah?" the rest are just rooms to sleep, eat and **** when not in your car.

Haha, I have other pics from inside but yea, this is prob the stuff that would interest most in this forum.

Agreed. The gf picked the only house she was looking at that didnt have a garage. Upsetting to say the least.

Better than picking one with one of those mini one-car garages. At least you could build fresh!

BigAls87Z28 01-18-2009 04:45 PM

There is possibilities. Problem is we have a pool, so that means we have to have a fence. It looks as if there was a garage in the past.

Here are some inside pics which stink but I was taking them quickly.

Blair was a bit more interested in these pics...odd?

She likes it, but things you should change the light fixture in the dining room over the table.

Deck looks great!
Deck = awesome
Garage = awesome
Driveway = awesome

Looks good man! The furniture in the master bedroom is exactly the same as mine.

Yea it will need a couple fine touches but overall I'm happy and I think it will work great for a starter home. My dad is very very handy with homes and he was mentioning how easy it would be to put vinyl siding on the house. This will all be after a little bit of ownership but nice to know someone can help do that kind of stuff since it will save a ton of money on labor.

Coming from a previous job in the performance lighting business, I will surely be replacing the inefficient lights with more appropriate fixtures. I agree with the dining room fixture and I will be putting some nice fluorescents in the garage to brighten that up. I can't wait to rip into the garage and get rid of all that space hogging construction.

Wow man, congrats. Everything looks really nice.
One small problem though, the garage doesn't look tall enough for a lift. :lol:

Awesome man, sounds like you are already spending money on the house!
I can already see the 2 post lift and the big air compressor in the corner.

I would love a lift but I'll admit that's a bit out there. As for the compressor, my dad has a large one in perfect shape in storage which I will be stealing....:)

Only hitch is I have to pick this up along with other goodies in CT. Well worth it.

Thanks for the compliments. It's located in Piscataway right off Exit 7 on 287.
