leaking back hatch
theres a leak somewhere around the top of the hatch i cant tell if its comin from the hinges or the weatherstriping anyone have that problem and found an easy fix?
|
where do you see that it is wet? I used to have a leak around that area, the headliner used to be soaked. I adjusted the t-tops so they pulled down tighter and that fixed my problem. Of course if you have a t-top car lol
|
I had that Problem too, for me it was the weatherstripping.
Are the tops of your back seats wet when it leaks? |
yeah my headliner is always soaked and i sometimes get some wetness on the bottom of the back seat i didn't think it was the t tops but ill have to look again
all i have to do to adjust them is...what bend the rod a little? i thought the back hatch leaked at the hinges so i siliconed them but it still leakes |
You can adjust the holes where the pins lock into, just loosen the screws and lower them a bit. It also helps to keep your weatherstripping armor-alled or something similar.

k man thanks ill do that

Sounds like an adjustment in the hatch itself
