i think its time i have to sell my car so i can get back and forth to school and work =/ . i dont wanna a honda =*******(((((((( lol. my trans is bad and i dont have money for a rebuild.

Mike 01-27-2009 12:48 PM

Drive the third Gen?

Stevoone 01-27-2009 12:50 PM

Which one of your cars has the bad trans? I have a 700R4 that I pulled from my car 2 months ago(1987 T/A). Had 140k miles on it but it shifted good and everything works on it.

GP99GT 01-27-2009 03:32 PM

buying my honda was probably one of the better decisions ive made

sweetbmxrider 01-27-2009 04:00 PM

keep it and get a super beater. then a trans/rebuild.

Mike 01-27-2009 04:18 PM

i heart my honda

CivicEaterLT1 01-27-2009 04:44 PM

haha lol. my 95 is the problem and my third gen is ****ed up. plus i cant really afford two insurances since i cant even fix my trans.

TronsBird 01-27-2009 04:46 PM

dump the 3rd gen so you can fix your trans
thats what i would do, but im not you lol

CivicEaterLT1 01-27-2009 04:47 PM

the third doesnt run. i think its a little problem but that car is dead. if someone wanted to buy it i guess then i would fix .

TronsBird 01-27-2009 04:49 PM

throw it on ebay or craigslist, see what happens

just figure out how much your trans would cost to get replaced or fixed and sell it for around that much or whatever you want

CivicEaterLT1 01-28-2009 07:44 AM

it gotta get rid of it somehow lol.

Lt1_8U 01-28-2009 08:31 AM

why dont you buy a beater for cheap. take your 95 off of insurance then when the trans is fixed put it back on and take the beater off?

CHRIS67 01-28-2009 09:06 AM

I'm sure your not going to want to hear it, but it's only temporary. When you have the money, security, and time pick up another toy later.

Blacdout96 01-28-2009 09:47 AM

Go onto LS1 tech or something, and pick up a used trans to dump in there to keep er' rolling till your a little more financially settled. who knows the damn trans could last a while.

CivicEaterLT1 01-28-2009 11:30 AM

idk lol. i wanna bring it to aamco so i figure whats actually wrong then ill make the harsh decision. if i were to sell it then get a cheap beater , my next toy would be a nice third gen.

Blacdout96 01-28-2009 11:50 AM

well why dont you tell us whats happening, and why you think its the trans.

Sell the 3rd gen...buy a Honda...take the TA off the road and once you get the money fix the trans. :) Best of both worlds...gas eff and you still have your F-body :)
