bully dog trans tuning

i bought one of those bully dog power programmers for my dodge ram 1500 because i pretty much have to modify everything i own but thats another story. anyway on to my question it has options to change the tans shift points from 5600 - 6300 rpm and increments in between. im not sure what i should go with so i set it at 5800 rpm and give that a try. has any one ever used one of these before or do you have any suggestions for what i should set it @ to get a little bit more aggressive shifting. any help would be appreciated thanks

what is the stock shift point for the ram? 5600 to 6300 is a big jump, I would not mess with the rev limiter that much if the truck is stock. At least do some research to what is a safe limit, and if you'll even make beneficial power there.

If your looking for more aggressive shifting, change the shift firmness. Remember that changing the rev limiter and shift firmness comes with the price of shorter tranny life without proper mods.
