What ya guys suggest. Been thinking about picking one up here for work so I can piss off the coworkers with some good ol metal :D

if there's a chance that they would hit it with a hammer, then go to target and get one of them cheapie one that just has a speaker. if not, Apple has some nice ones, or JBL

Not to worried about people smashing it. I usually just have the radio loud enough so I can hear it in the aera that I am working in. Just after a while using headphones suck when one is trying to shoot rivets down and ya have to hear the other person on the other side telling ya what thye need.

i love my JBL onstage. pumps out jams and has a port inside the ring so it has some good bass. works great had it for a few years no problems ever.

I bought that for my sister's iPod a while ago and it is nice. I just got the iHome for Christmas and it's really nice. My model is prolly slightly overkill for what you are looking for (alarm clock, AM/FM, etc): http://www.ihomeaudio.com/products.a...2&dept_id=1006
