New LSR location in Maine. Looks like they are going to kick it off mid summer using shared rules with the East Coast Timing Association.

1.5 MILES WITH YOUR FOOT ON THE FLOOR!!!!!

I am definitely going to try to at least spectate for this one.

Thats not Maine, thats in Canada!!

NJSPEEDER 02-05-2009 10:52 PM

Canada? Sweet, our miles per hour are worth more there :drive:

PolarBear 02-05-2009 10:55 PM

Its hard to believe that that is closer than the other track :?:

NJSPEEDER 02-05-2009 10:57 PM

6-7 hours north instead of 10-11 south

Either way it is a whole day of driving pretty much.

Knipps 02-06-2009 01:24 PM

If I decide to come along we can use my apartment as 1/2 way point/pit stop

You aren't making it that far north in Maine in 6-7 hours. More like 12-13 hours.

NJSPEEDER 02-06-2009 04:42 PM

Really? I never thought Maine was that long a drive.

Either way, I think it sounds like a fun way to spend a weekend :)

That joint is 700+/-miles way and 12 hours.....

He said 6-7 hours???

From mapquest: Trenton, NJ to Limestone, ME

Estimated Time: 11 hours 59 minutes Estimated Distance: 683.75 miles

Maybe if your foot to the floor for whole trip at about a 150mph:?:

NJSPEEDER 02-06-2009 07:37 PM

Estimated times also say it is a long way to Daytona beach, but I have made "good time" to and from there. Just ask Little G ;)

Either way, I really want to at least spectate at one of these things.
