I may take the trip out. I've got a lot of work to do tonight, but with a little bit of luck I should be making the trip tomorrow to run the car again. I'll have to run out later to throw a new o2 sensor in the car and see if it makes it any quicker. I also have to throw the DR's back on the car. It's gonna be a long night. Anyone plan on going. It's going to be almost 60 so it's almost to hard to pass up.

I think CBRRMike and one of his friends are planning to be there. Just look for the blue TBSS with the club logo on the back

haha, I will try getting on the gas a little harder and hopefully the rear will hold because my launch technique still needs a lot of work imo. I'm hoping to get the car to be a steady 12.5-12.6 car tomorrow instead of a 12.7 car like last week. I want at least one 12.49 pass.

I'll see you there mike. Now that I have a little better feel for my car maybe we'll have some close races. I'll be down there with a red z28 and probably a pewter ws6. Should be a nice little f body hang out. Tomorrow's looking good so far. I've got most of my project done that's due in school on Monday and I went out and bought the o2. So now I need to install the o2, put on the DR's, and wash the car because it's covered in salt.

Damn I wanted to go but I NEED front tires and my calipers are still sticking bad. I really want to get my lauch down too, I think theres a low 1.70' and I'm dreaming of a 1.6x. Lets us know how you make out.

Track prep sucked but I still ran a new best. Stock suspension doesn't work too well spraying off the line. :-?

Yea, track prep blew. I was spinning through 2nd gear with my 12 second car.

i was running 12's all day, just not what I liked. I'm going to have the motor thrown back on a dyno to see what kind of numbers it's putting out because I put the new o2 sensor in and lost 2 tenths of a second. I also couldn't break a 112 mph trap speed. The clutch stuck to the floor on one of the runs so I think the clutch may be where I'm losing power. I'm probably going to go to the track one more time in the next few weeks and then that'll be it for a while until I throw a new clutch in the car. My best run was a 12.75@111.3. My last run of the day was a 12.77@111.2. The car still needs some tweaking and I only got about 9 or 10 runs in compared to last weeks 22.

Last time i was at atco i ran a 13.1 @ 93 mph lol Thats how bad i was losing traction. I almost put the car into the wall with slicks on

It was weird because last week the nittos hooked great and this week the track just wouldn't hold them. I even started doing burnouts in 2nd gear to really get the tires heated and the track still wouldn't hold.

Vin the air was not as good yesterday as it was last week, I'll bet the DA was not the same so hence the mph drop.

I tried, I have a cast crank and every time I glanced at my tach it was pegged. I made 3 passed quite a bit faster than 11.49 and no one said anything about my lack of a bar... 8-)

yea, there was rain in the area for some of the day so I bet the humidity was up there. I'm picking up a buddies spec stage 3 for a descent price and we're going to throw it in at his shop within the next two weeks. I just want to stop worrying about these clutch issues I'm having. With the bad o2 sensor last week I may have fouled a plug or two and since they're cheap enough(NGK TR55's), I might change the plugs. I'll be back at the end of the month for some testing and see if I can get that 12.40 I'm looking for.
