Can you use same receiver for XM + Serius?

I've had serius for a few years, and it's about to run out. I got XM in the new car. So I was thinking of just having both under XM. Since they merged can I use the same reciever or would I need an XM receiver?

I think the receivers are separate still, but either receiver can get both.

Depends. What receiver is it. The older ones will just say "XM ready" or "Sirius Ready". Newer ones will say "Sat Ready"

I wish they would put it on one bill. I have both and its crap that they wont merge it.

I've always stuck to 1 year contracts, because XM's 3 and 5 year contracts weren't any cheaper per month than a 1 year. If I do decide to renew mine in March, It'll only be a few months at a time though.

i got the three year last time because it was part of that deal to get the hardware for the second radio free........and 3 months free on the second radio

sweetbmxrider 02-12-2009 02:34 PM

i would be concerned with them leaning towards bankruptcy.
