Coolant leak

I have a coolant leak on a 96 sierra 1500 with the 350 vortec. Is it possible for a bad intake gasket to cause a leak in the back of the motor? I am 99% sure its not the rear freeze plugs. Thanks in advance.

Ok, well do you have a metal tube that comes from the back on the engine, connects into the TB or just dumps into the rad neck?

Yes, very common on vortec engines
