A little entertainment for you late night guys..

I thought I would humor you all with one of the dumbest, most retarded, but entertaining things I have heard in a long time.. This guy over on LS1tech posted SS camaro parts for sale.. apparently he is broke, has a beautiful true SS camaro and he is selling the SS hood, wing, and rims off the car and putting regular camaro **** on to make a few bucks. Is it just me or is something wrong with this picture?

hmm...he might make a few extra dollars........maybe.....

HeadlessNorseman 03-15-2009 08:34 AM

I would just give the car up and wave goodbye to my credit. I dont know how selling a few ss parts and buying a few z28 parts is going to help him out in the long run. He can just keep the car at a friends and skip a few payments then catch up when he gets a job. Although on another note when i got my mr2 i sold the body kit and all the TRD useless parts and made almost 2000. Stuff i didnt want anyways. I would never take apart a camaro SS though

BonzoHansen 03-15-2009 08:35 AM

He should just sell the car.

Iroc-z86 03-15-2009 09:46 AM

wow. just wow. That is sad he cant find any other way to make the payment. ripping apart a true ss with low miles is just stupid.

i saw that thread and skipped over it only because he called ss parts oem.

slp made the ss's. you can't call gm and get the parts direct from them. only 35th anniversary wheels.

Ughh, I can call up my local GM dealership right now and get an SS hood from them and have it shipped to where I want it(I've done it many times). Regardless of who made it if the part is available through GM it's an OEM part.

I guess since Alcoa and Speedline made the Z06 rims for GM they're not OEM rims?

It has a GM part number too(you can also order it through gmpartsdirect.com), I don't have access to my estimating system anymore or else I'd get the #.

The only reason why I posted up was because it sounded like that thread wasn't worthy of your time since the guy said SS parts were OEM...lol

pretty much  no i figured it was some dumb ass wanting $500+ for an ss spoiler and like 1k for the wheels. so i just skipped over it.

NastyEllEssWon 03-15-2009 01:19 PM

slp only did the ss conversions for 98 and 99. im not sure of the 00's. i know the 01 and 02 and anny editions were done by gm in house.

sweetbmxrider 03-15-2009 01:54 PM

yeah whatever over it

DevilDougWS6 03-15-2009 07:05 PM
