A lot of people remember the name Joey Hand for the epic end over end wreck he had racing a GT BMW M3 a while back. Well, Joey had another not so excellent adventure last weekend during the Koni Challenge race at Homestead/Miami Speedway.

I met Joey Hand in 05. He's the dude the drove the McLaren for me. Also it knocked that camera probably form making the air in side the car compressed when it hit the window. Crazy stuff, but he's still a kickass driver!!!

Wow. He did a real JOB on that car.

the car didnt have a driver side window, so i doubt the air would have compressed that hard....they might have had the camera on the roof of the car rather than the cage, and when the hood hit the roof it knocked it around

Surprised that Turner Motorsports would post the video with their logo. While things happen in the frenzy of competition, that's not the kind of thing that tends to inspire confidence. Feel sorry for Hand, he seemed to be doing a good job. Luck is apparently not on his side.
