LS1 fuel rail removal

i know how to take it apart but my main question is, when i disconnect the main fuel line from the rail it should NOT be pressurized, correct? provided the key is off obviously.

I dont need a face full of fuel tomorrow when i take the rail off to polish it.

it will be if you had the key on... press the sheraider valve on the end of the drivers side rail with a rag in your hand.
