The Pro-Flo XT LS1 EFI intake manifold is engineered with a large plenum and tapered runners to deliver maximum horsepower and broad torque band throughout the rpm range (1500-7000 rpm). Features include a 90mm throttle bore opening and 2.75" port exit height. This manifold produced 30 more horsepower over a stock LS6 manifold at 6500 rpm. Accepts Pro-Flo XT throttle body #3869/#38693 or adapter #2737 and standard LS1 throttle bodies. Compatible with LS1 Fuel Rail Kit #3629 (sold separately). Aesthetics were also a major consideration in the design, offering enthusiasts custom looks and choice of as-cast aluminum or black powder coated finish with contrast machine.

Nevermind... it won't fit a F body.

Yeah, I was going to say that it looks kind of tall...

LTb1ow 04-06-2009 09:01 AM

And you would have to lose the awesomeness of a plastic toy intake! Oh noozzz!!

How tall is it? Maybe under a cowl? And how do they expect you to run your MAF/filter setup?

NJ Torque 04-06-2009 09:13 AM

It won't fit under the windsheild cowl.

1984camaroz28 04-14-2009 06:36 PM

Id like to try it compared to a FAST 90

MonmouthCtyAntz 04-15-2009 07:57 AM

Yea I believe it just came out but yea it wont fit.

1984camaroz28 04-15-2009 06:16 PM

it will fit on are race cars

KirkEvil 04-15-2009 06:30 PM

There was a huge thread on the tech about somebody coming out with a composite version of that intake thats short enough to fit. It was advertised to gain 10 hp over a fast 90

LTb1ow 04-15-2009 06:47 PM

Big ass runners....

LTb1ow 04-16-2009 09:38 AM

But that fiber-tuned(?) one, is it a custom made length runner too?

When the fast 92mm came out it was $1250. The price will drop once the hype dies out and people realize it only gains like 8 hp over an ls6 intake on a basic H/C setup

not too shabby........for 1600 bucks the throttle cable bracket should look better than it does....but not the biggest deal in the world

LTb1ow 04-16-2009 10:12 AM

Looks like something prone to a boat load of vaccum leaks.

Actually I think this would have less vaccuum leaks. The port gaskets are the same size as the stock intake, and it gets bolted down directly through flanges to each port.

LTb1ow 04-16-2009 10:19 AM

And all those welds? And the fact your doubling your gasketed joints?

Looks cool, but I sure as hell would not pay for it. OTH, a direct port would look pimp as hell mounted under that plenum.

Pampered-Z 04-16-2009 10:36 AM

This is from the motorcity site, Rapid's new engine I don't much other then it's got a 115MM TB feading it. And another member on the site has his with a nitris fogger plum'd in.
