drum to disc conversion

That sounds fairly reputable. On an F-body though, I would expect you to get it all together and take a test drive and find out they work great. Maybe too great (accelerated wear, locking up under heavy braking, etc.). Rear disc cars and rear drum cars usually have different master cylinders. I'm almost positive F-bodies do (3rd and 4th gen at least). I would recommend using a master cylinder from a car that came stock with rear discs because the pistons inside the master have different dimensions. You should be able to find a rear disc master pretty cheap. I think the one on my parts car is for rear discs. I'll check tomorrow.

after looking at other "conversion kits" i realized that they all use the same idea to do this so i guess it is a reputable way of doing it. well yes and no with the master cylinder, i probly would get a little bit bigger one, but the main thing is to get proportioning valves that works the pressure right, i think the front use 2lb's and the rear use 10 lbs or something like that,

Yeah that's true. It's not a huge difference between the two masters. I don't know the numbers, but with the right proportioning valve setup, I think you'd be fine.

Me and my friend used Ed's backing plates on his GTA to go from Iron rear calipers to PBR's. They fit perfectly.
