They are getting pretty hard to find thanks to the gov. shutting down the production of them from one or two of the companies that made them.

Tune the codes out?

Cheaper in the long run if you just get them tuned out

Be careful, I posted a more provocative article about getting through inspection, and a few members think that its a crime to cheat inspection. Nobody here does that????? Got a reply from one member, watch out, some members are law enforcement. I hope my tax dollars are not going to somebody checking members cars for emission control stuff removed. Most of ours are cleaner running because we maintain them.

Pft! Don't be hating!

And +1 on just getting the rear 02s tuned out.

Sorry for the hate, but I asked a question for help, and got a lot of judge mental replies, they dont help. I am good though. And I second tuning them out. Give Bryan a call.

That's because it IS a crime to cheat inspection. People do it but they do not make it public on here.

its actually a drive cycle. you probably have some monitors set almost immediately. the harder ones to set are emissions related. you should take a nice long drive on the parkway at a rather constant speed. this allows the egr, evap, and O2's to run their self-tests.

2000+ can have one monitor not ready.
1999 and older can have two.

go somewhere, like autozone, and have them check the monitors' statuses.

Which sims do you need, the 4 wire flat or 4 wire square? I have a pair of the square ones you could borrow if you're desperate.

I have a Diablosport Predator programmer that I use for scanning and it was showing me all my not ready conditions. I did a search on google and there are some good instructions of how to run through a bunch of the self tests. I was able to clear out 7 or 8 not ready conditions in one night and the next morning.
