Update for NJMP

if anyone is still interested in a track day at NJMP, please post up here. id like to at least try to get the ball rolling on this, if its going to happen in the first place. i need to know exactly how many people are 100% into this. details about the day can be read on the other thread. if youre worried about it being the day after the nationals, they do have other dates available. post up if youd like the date changed, and if there is a majority vote, it can be changed.

post up only if youre definetely going. if youre not sure, then dont post. PM me and ill put you down as an possiblility. when time gets closer, and IF this will happen at all, a deposit should be placed to ensure a spot.

Hm, I've found this site a little too late. Just last Friday EMRA had an HPDE/Time trials day at the NJMP Thunderbolt. EMRA is a fun club to run with, with the motto "Amateur motorsports as it was meant to be". And at the end of the day you can get the timed laps if you wish. Price is cheaper than PDA too, around $200 for cheaper tracks, $240 for the more expensive ones. Next is going to be Monticello, and then NJMP Lightning.

Forgot to say, EMRA currently has a promotion, $100 off the first event for the new people. I've got a bunch of the coupons, but you don't actually need the paper coupon, just write a note at the registration form.

I'm not going. My race car needs work to be more competitive, and I'm trying to save money this year by not racing, doing autocross only. Maybe closer to the end of the year. Though I'm still tempted to go to Lightning, I haven't driven there before. Maybe go to the time trials with my autocross car.
