2010 Camaro at Ayers Chevrolet

As if I didn't want one bad enough before! I was driving down rt46 and almost gave my father whip lash! Pictures don't do this car justice, it is a piece of artwork. I couldn't look at the insides because it is already sold, the owner will be picking it up tomorrow. I cant wait until May 6th to check out the rest of it.

Notice the weights on the calipers.
They'll probably recall the brakes for replacements free of charge. Car still looks pretty good though

I was just gonna say that. I can;t believe they released it like that...

On another note, what up with the exhaust area? I liked it more before..

Loves the car, hates the salesman!! I knew more than he did about it, but I expected that.

madness410 04-24-2009 03:52 PM

that looks sick. im not a big fan of the gfx painted a different color..makes it look bootleg.

i hope the guy who is picking it up tomorrow called out of work and is planning to shut his cell phone off to cruise around all day.

NastyEllEssWon 04-24-2009 05:06 PM

yeah there was a big post about the weights all over the net...rofl

on another not...i like the gfx and the rear diffuser thing, if it was mine i could forsee myself taking a dremel to that rear exhaust surround and just cut them out and toss in some nice big tips

MonmouthCtyAntz 04-24-2009 05:58 PM

Gfx definately do not look like they belong....Still having mixed feeling on the 5th gens...lets see how they respond w/ some mods....

Iroc-z86 04-24-2009 10:06 PM

yeah i saw that car the other day when it just got dropped off. didnt have the gfx or the stripes. still had the plastic inside and on the bumper. sharp car. the salesman asked me if i wanted to buy it. i said it was the wrong color and if he gave me what i owned on my jeep i would have signed. lol

Blackbirdws6 04-25-2009 06:21 AM

I think it looks pretty good. I was feeling the rear body work treatment for the exhaust but not the circle tips lurking behind the square opening. I would paint that black so I couldn't see it.

More round pegs in square holes. Ugh.

I dont get the wheel weights either, maybe they're part of the PDI procedure to balance out those big freaking wheels. So the tech doesn't try to beat on a standard weight.
I can't see 1-1.5oz of weight hanging on top of a caliper having any effect on the Brembos.

Sweet car, ugly gfx esp for $2500 extra

Knipps 04-25-2009 10:07 AM

GFX have always been love/hate I can't stand them on 4th gen camaros, but these don't look so bad

Frosty 04-25-2009 11:19 AM

Chrome trim on exhaust cut outs HAS to go...very tacky.

I like the black GFX though.

NJ Torque 04-25-2009 11:21 AM

eh.

DaSkinnyGuy 04-25-2009 02:46 PM

the groundeffects painted to match the rally stripes kill it for my taste

 you can have them in whatever color you like, as long as it's black

Mike 04-25-2009 06:06 PM

is that red or orange?

EchoMirage 04-25-2009 07:23 PM

red

band77one 04-25-2009 09:26 PM

are the gfx flat black ? they dont look very shiny to me.

BigAls87Z28 04-25-2009 09:30 PM

Hottness...I want to drive an RS reaaaaaaaally bad.

I like only the rear section of the additonal gfx. Id just paint around the defuser body color. The rest of the GFX just add to the visual mass of the car.
That car probably stickerd near 40k. It looked loaded, SS/RS package, with GFX package, probably 2SS as well. Id guess with that much money, its an auto, so throw in another grand. Engine cover to match...and with all that, you want to get the car cover, even if its gunna sit in the garage and have only 4-5k miles put on it over the next year....

I want mine, real bad, and real soon.

mc73nova 04-25-2009 11:01 PM

Its really late so Im not sure if this is the right name for it but they are graphite stripes with matching ground fx. They are NOT Black, for those of you who arent sure.
