car is doing alot better but is throwing one more code
a P0356 "Ignition Coil Primary circuit malfunction"
im thinking its just a loose wire/connection perhaps. whenever i wake up this afternoon, i willl take a looksee. anybody have any advice on this? thanks! and hopefully this will be the last error code! lol |
Thats your number 6 coil. Check the connection and then make sure the wiring is all in good shape to that coil. There are only 3 things that can cause that code a fault in the PCM, connection trouble (not fully connected, split wire, fouled wire and so on and so on) or the coil itself
|
i ruled out the coil being bad today so far lol. i took one off of the t/a and hooked that up. cleared the codes, ran it and then it almost immediately the ses light was blinking and then the same code came up again. the connection is tight on the coil, but maybe a connector itself is a lil loose. ill also check the connection at the pcm

just make sure its actually producing spark or not. could be a ground or connector issue.
|
check to make sure that the actual plug boot isnt messed up or the wire isnt toast??? did it touch the headers?
i saw it had problems starting today....maybe its the number 6 fuel injector actually clogged and its throwing the ignition circuit signal by a dummy mistake? |
nah everythings good, its not throwing anymore codes. it just needs a tune so everything is on M6 mode instead of A4 mode lol
