POLLEN IS BACK, HOORAY FOR THE YELLOW CRAP ON EVERYTHING!

Anybody notice since Monday that suddenly EVERYTHING is coated in yellow dust:-x. The cars are coated with it and it makes washing your car and keeping it nice for about 10 minutes impossible. For those of you who suffer during this season, do NOT drive with your windows open. Close them up and keep the A/C on low or risk having pollen rammed up your nose at highway speeds. If your car has a cabin filter, change it now.

My black roofed car is now neon green

cdacda13 04-28-2009 10:36 PM

I noticed it on Sunday. I washed the truck Saturday night, came out on Sunday morning, green dust everywhere.
Its extremely frustrating.

I was laughing at all the convertibles I saw around yesterday parked with their tops down. They didn't think about the pollen dust that would be covering the interior of the car as they sat there all day. Between mowing the lawn every couple of days and the pollen, who knows when I'll get back to normal breathing. The mountain bike ride yesterday was tough enough with the clogged up breathing, but the bike path along the canal was just a cloud of bugs as well. It looks like we're going back to normal temps which is good.

Had to call out of work on 4/27 because of this s#!t. I'm glad it's rained for the last 5 days. Feelin much better now.

NJSPEEDER 05-09-2009 01:13 PM

Thankfully it looks like those days of hard rain knocked a lot of the crap out of the Oak trees so my allergies are actually doing better than they did a week ago. :)

noboundreez2345 05-09-2009 01:18 PM

My white car was green this morning haha it sucks when your allergic to. Not only are you aggravated that its all over your car it also makes you feel like garbage. Pollen = fail

ar0ck 05-09-2009 01:26 PM

My allergies actually have been worse now that it stopped raining, those stupid Oak Beards are everywhere, the rain didn't wash them away at all.

String 05-11-2009 06:01 PM

I love when you can actually see it blowing in the wind. Damn tree spermies!

Plus all the rain we've had is just going to make them bloom MORE, and this pollen season is just getting started. My son just cuts our lawn (we have 1/2 acre) and his nose is clogged for the rest of the day!
