Does driving your car make you more angry?

So now that my truck is gone, i'm driving my camaro every day. Its the first time I have had a car with any sort of power as a daily driver...so its sort of a new experience. I find that I get irritated way faster than I would normally...and I end up burning off some rubber when I get mad or end up driving too fast. Is it like that for anyone else? I'm feeling like I need to get something with less power before I get myself in trouble. I've got a clean record and I don't want to mess that up.

eh, sometimes I get mad in my car for just stupid things, but normally never floor it more.

Both of my cars are V8's for a reason:twisted:

Music use to influence how fast I drove but I tend to drive my Formula slower than my beaters cause I get pulled over more often than not for just driving the Formula rather than doing anything wrong.

I got in more trouble in my V6, I think I respect this one more

When I drive my car, I usually drive like an old Man. I put way too much time, money, and effort in it to drive it like an *******.

music would make me want to go fast but i have been in too much trouble to speed anymore.

my car actually mellows me out. i guess it's just the thought of actually driving my dream car, plus all of the attention i get from others who appreciate my car. it's just a sweet experience that gets better the more i drive the car.

it sounds like you have some underlying issues. just driving a car shouldn't make you angry. if you are getting angry at other drivers, i think you should seek some help. a lower power car won't solve your anger problems.

I mess around once in a while in it, but no, doesn't affect my mood like that.

I'm not sure why yet, but the car seems to bring it out more. I suppose I need to figure out whats going on. It only happens in my car...I drive jens car and I'm fine, when I drove my truck I was way more easy going. When someone ticks me off I'm on the go pedal more than necessary.

I'm starting to think the problem may be somewhere else but the car has been sort-of an outlet. I've seen other people that get like me, and I said "wow whats their problem." I'm normally a very non-violent, passive person. I guess I need to seek some kind of help...

I relax a lot when I am in my car compared to the jeep.

relaxed and speeding have nothing to do with each other :rofl: you sure look relaxed when you caught up to us on 195

Whiplash Performance 05-09-2009 03:09 PM

I'm more relaxed driving my goat and GN. When I had my SSS i would get angrier driving it when people wouldnt move the f out of my way.

ar0ck 05-09-2009 03:12 PM

I hate chugging a long behind people at sub 35mph speeds.

LTb1ow 05-09-2009 03:14 PM

Yurp, and it kills me to watch the temp gauge climb when stuck in traffic. I avoid driving the Z around busy times for major roads. Night driving ftw. :)

NastyEllEssWon 05-09-2009 03:14 PM

if you just plan your routes to mostly highway driving youll life will be easier
