So I have been searching on LS1TECH for a while to find a good deal on a set of used 243 heads with the sodium filled exaust valves. After about 3-4 months of searching and not finding anything I wanted I said to myself. Where do 243 heads with sodium filled valves and yellow springs come from? 2002 Z06 corvettes right? Maybe I should check a corvette sight. I sign up for a vette sight and do a search on 243 heads. Like 71 ads show up. I found me a brand new set opened for the very first time today for $500. I suggest if you F-body guys are looking for a good set to start searching vette sites.

nice. I was just searching their forum. looks like you got an awesome deal, but most of the 243's for sale there are going for average price. If your going for a descent size cam your going to want to upgrade even the yellow springs. What kind of build are you doing?
