Second Job Options

Im looking to pick up a 2nd job, very limited part time stuff to pick up some quick cash so that I can start stock piling more money.
Any ideas? Autozone was my 2nd job, making extra bucks every pay check for FU while I saved up all the cash from Sears. Only worked 12-16 hrs a week, so it wasnt that bad.
But now Im thinking of picking up a 2nd job, something easy to do while making a decent buck for a few hours. It would probably have to be at night and on the weekends.
I have thought about cars salesman, but there are ups and downs with that.

at nights and on weekends......quick cash.......something easy.......just put on some skimpy clothes and walk the streets of long branch at night and you'll find your job.

Jump off a cliff.

Anyone else?

- save up about 2-3 grand and purchase powder coating equipment and start a side business.

EDIT: or just buy a setup for under $1000. just get a powder coating gun and a heat lamp (lame) and do small stuff then when you can afford a big electric oven do bigger stuff....and then soon enough you can afford a giant oven

Thats a lot of time to invest, not to mention money for something to do on the side.

Jam 05-25-2009 11:26 PM

work at chilis

Start an ebay business as a reseller or go junkyard hopping and sell the parts...it's something that's not hard and stuff you can do at your own pace.

BobonaStick 05-25-2009 11:36 PM

Try the towing industry. its quick and easy and most places right now are only looking for part time drivers.

madness410 05-25-2009 11:37 PM

see about an ebay business..but last i checked you need a tax id number and stuff to make it legit.

have you looked into delivering pizzas or being a delivery boy of some sort? i remember when i used to do that they needed people on nights and mostly weekends and i used to make decent bucks, chilled out in my car most of the time listened to music, brought my buddies along

Savage_Messiah 05-26-2009 12:31 AM

i can see if a fedex ground by you is hiring

That is a hard job to get with no experience. At least at a place when money can be made.

sweetbmxrider 05-26-2009 08:32 AM

yeah and its going to be realllll hard to get into with summer here and wanting prime hours.....

BonzoHansen 05-26-2009 08:36 AM

Right, so stop posting stupid ideas. The poor bastard is looking for good ideas.

LTb1ow 05-26-2009 08:42 AM

Waiter or even the guy that clears tables, they make mostly cash and its not too hard of a job. Night hours. Etc.

Or at Home Depot as said above, working the night shift un loading trucks/stocking.

I doubt AZ woud look kindly upon him moonlighting at another parts store.

sweetbmxrider 05-26-2009 09:18 AM

i thinks its a great idea, it will just take some work to get there though

madness410 05-26-2009 09:23 AM

id say a waiter isnt a bad job but they are also going to want you to work day shifts sometimes. usually they give all the people who have been there a longer time better hours and such. at least from my experience, my friends, and all of my co workers at famous daves.

BurninrubberGT 05-26-2009 09:41 AM

you good at detailing?

detail out of your garage, thats what ive done for extra cash the past 3 years

Jersyboyy 05-26-2009 09:47 AM

I made 150 bucks friday night working 5-10 delivering pizzas Al.
