94 z28 auto trans question...

ok so I jus got a gorgeous 94 z28 off an older woman, its completly stock and i love it..my question is im not real fimiliar with automatic transmissions, it shifts nice and crisp but i've noticed that it doesnt shift into high gear/OD until around 50mph and when comming to a stop i can feel when it down shifts from 2cd to 1st, is this normal or culd it be the way it was rebuilt, or am i paranoid?? lol

Ive had my 94 Camaro A4 for about 4 years now and thats pretty normal opperation from what Ive experianced. The downshift it always felt in my car and quite honestly Ive gotten used to it. Im not exactly sure what speed my OD kicks on but that doesnt sound out of the ordinary.

OD usually gets shifted into around 45 give or take a few
