Beware of dealing with mc73nova

Just a warning to anyone who is thinking of dealing mc73nova. A LS1 block was purchased from him recently with the understanding that it should clean up with a 10 over hone job. Now when said block does not clean up and is basically a big piece of junk, this guy is saying too bad. This guy never said if don't clean up too bad it is on you. So when some money was asked to be returned for the this junk block basically the guy said 'f' you. Okay real nice attitude. Did not ask for all the money back just half. So I am just warning anybody that decides to deal with this person to be careful and to avoid them at all cost. Because if a guy needs this little bit of money that bad to ruin his reputation fine.

You can bash me all you want. I will post every PM we have sent back in forth to each other, never did I once say "F" you or anything close to that.

You and your brother were going back and forth several times while you were here about taking the block. I said several times, you dont have to take it its not a big deal. Now you took it to an engine shop had them do work to it and now want to give it back.

I could careless if you call me a piece of $h!t. There are people from this site that I talk to regularly and I am friends with and I am sure they would say that I am not a bad person and I go out of my way to help people.

That is fine I would understand that as well. However this wasnt an ebay sale with pictures, they came to look at it and thoroughly I might add and they still purchased it. They had the option of walking away and chose not too.

So you bought a used block and now its his fault that its trash?

vegaken 06-02-2009 11:27 AM

Not his fault just looking for him to be a good person and work with someone. I will edit my remarks about TMR then since they are not involved here. Not a problem there. However I guess I should just go out and sell junk and when it does not work it will be the other persons problem and tell them too bad. Anyone who thinks that is okay is pretty shallow and deserves what ever comes to them down the road. I will let this go now since I talked it over and just figured I wanted to warn people and now they will now.

JerzLT1 06-02-2009 11:49 AM

is the block junk now or does it just need more work?

cdacda13 06-02-2009 11:50 AM

I'll take the block off your hands if you don't want it.
