Short Belt Mod Question...
 
Ok...real quick question...With the ASP U/D and Alt. Pulley....what size belt would be needed to bypass the P/S pump?

I'm not sure. I know when I had asked ron about it at the track he told me a 51" is what he uses and I saw him swap the belts without a problem. Zero is my friend so if it's wrong information, o well for him.:lol:

go to the parts store and ask for a 51 K4 51" 4 rib it 51K4 should be in the partnumber on the belt

i have a 25% UD crank pulley and stock alt pulley and use a 51" belt. u should still be ok with a 51" even if u have a UD alt pulley

yeah usually the length of the belt is the first or last numbers on the part number...if you ask them to look at the stock you can find it pretty quick

depends on the brand, generally therse 2 diff part number combos. 5040510 would be the dayco style number, 40 means 4 rib, 510 means 51.0 inches...gates style numbers would be the above mentioned, 51K4 or something like that
