spits and sputters

my 94 z28 lt1, auto, is completly stock, If i stomp it at aroun 30mph or less it will spit and sputter and choke, it runs great and strong as long as u dont floor it, but this prob annoys me. If you floor it at highway speeds its perfectly fine.. fuel filter??? any ideas?

Could be too many things at this point to narrow down to one. Any check engine light?. Could be fuel delivery related (injectors, pump, highly doubt its a filter), could be ignition related (opti, plugs, wires , weak coil, problem with the ICM) or could be a bad sensor (TPS, O2 , MAF and so on). Get it scanned while its having the problem and see what its doing , also hook it up to a fuel pessure gauge and make sure its delivery good solid pressure across the board.

Edit- Could even be exhaust related.
