videos from Atco 6/12/09

Some videos from last night. It was retardedly humid out so everyone was running pretty slow. I was trying to keep the car slower than 11.49 but first pass it went 11.44. This is my second run... The starter opened up my door and yelled at me for not having a fire jacket. He however said nothing about not having a roll bar... weird. "I saw what you went on that last run. you get a pass tonight but dont come back here without a jacket!"

Dude, while I am impressed that your car runs strong and consistent I think you should cut them a break by posting a vid of them testing the car for the first time while trying to work the bugs out. I might not agree with some of their ball busting either but you've got some stones I must admit. I don't think you jumped into your car the first time and put down an impressive number. I do hope you guys really are doing this all in fun.

the humidity doesnt affect DA as much as low barometric pressure. (everybody blames the humidity), but when the baro is only reading 29.70 youre not going to run as good compared to 30.70

that red t/a came out of the hole pretty hard. once he gets a feel for the car, itll be much faster than low 13s @ 95mph. Driving a 6spd requires a bit more skill than driving an auto.

1/8th mile? That car didn't even make it 60ft... The owner of that car did in fact say it should run "low 11's high 10's on motor and low 10's high 9's on spray." ...for your wallets sake it better

Sweet99Z 06-16-2009 04:19 PM

my wallet should be just fine.

98tadriver 06-16-2009 08:56 PM

looked like he cut a bogging 1.60 60' thats not too bad. between the 1-2 shift and the end, it sounded like he let out for a total of 5 seconds lol.
