Butler Auto Parts

Anyone know what happened to the Butler Auto Parts store on Rt. 23? My aunt and uncle opened up that store years ago and then sold it to Tommy who was the current owner. But I heard from a friend of the family that they went up there the other day and it was no longer there.

yeah, they went out of business. they moved to the smaller store that was next door (used to be a gun shop i think?), and couldnt make it there either. Not sure why exactly, but i used to work at Ed's auto down in bloomingdale and i know its been slow there too.

The whole auto scene is hurting, even the body shops.

I used to go there all the time. Tommy was cool and knowledgeable.Economy puts a hurtin on us all. As long as Harringtons and 002 auto parts doesn't go belly up I'll be ok. I hate goin to those Autozone places. The people that work there are F***ING clueless.
