anyone here running on UMI lca relocation brackets?
im thinking about picking up a set (bolt-on) anyone has a set on their lowered 4th gen and likes them?? or recommend something else??
|
I run em. Easy enough to install. Good combo with the tubular LCAs. Wheels do more spinning versus hopping.
|
they are all the same and are a good idea. otherwise its wheel hop galore!
|
I run them on my ls1, I got the bolt on ones with the intention of welding them in also. Still have to do that.
I also run the spohn weld on relos on the lt1. |
do them

and thanks for the help everyone.. will order soon... |
haha
i figured i'd keep it simple. when i lowered my car i had major traction issues. the brackets helped a lot. good investment. |
Anyone have problems installing those UMI bolt-in ones? I know of a few guys that had a ton of trouble getting them to fit.
my spohn weld-in ones fit perfectly... |
my umi's went on no problem and work great

i have "RPM speed" brackets. i think. that's what i ordered but it came with UMI hardware and instructions so i'm not entirely sure. bought them because they were the cheapest. went in okay(or so i thought) but i had to grind down the spacers on my rod ends to get them to fit in. then i looked and my whole axle ended up being shifted back a few inches. supposedly it's an installation error, so when i get my new rod ends i'll try reinstalling them.

im running umi''s. abosultely no problems with them. couldn't be more satisfied. umi is great
