best place to buy suspension parts....

upgrading suspension just wondering where some of you guys went for your rigs and where the better deals are.... BMR seems to be alot more expensive than the other brands so ill prob steer clear of that... thanks for any help...

I predict a quick lock on this one...

But to be all mod like, you should really check out some of the sponsors and see their prices

JS Performance is a UMI dealer.

Talk to SSP, TMR, and Whiplash to see what they have available and what they can do for you price wise.

i seem to prefer spohn for whatever reason. paul, hardcorez28, got me the lca's i wanted and was very easy to deal with. also two tranny mounts, which i will be needing another since none of them made it to my car

edit: whoops, don't know if he is still a sponsor. hope rpm is still doing good.

I like spohn and bmr but thats just me

We carry the complete line of performance products from UMI and PA Racing.. We also can put together a complete "kit" for what ever you want your car to do be it street/strip, drag race, road course, or just your daily driver.

In the drag racing world it seems BMR has the fastest stock style suspension cars... That's gotta say something.... Though I've dealt with Spohn a few times and couldn't be happier with them.

im not impressed with my BMR LCAs, they ate a bushing after less then a year and were properly greased, my UMIs are great though

Kat 07-11-2009 07:12 PM

The problem with BMR's bushing is that it is too thin and is just meant to be a hinge point thats it. It really doesnt allow the axle to articulate in the arch that it suppsoed to for everyday driving. Where as Spohn uses a bigger poly bushing that allows for more flex for the everyday stuff.

Or ya can go with what I have the Poly/Rod lca's.. The quietness of poly but has most of the performance of rod ends.

I have the double rod end ones but I also have a track car and a daily seperate. My 96 only sees the street to drive to the track

To answer the above question....RPM is alive and well.....more resto work than I can actually keep up with right now. Getting ready to expand but strategically planning how.

spohn is the way to go, i have a BMR kmember but the spohn parts are better in my opinion, oh and my father is the main steel supplier for him so you know its good tubing :)

i have mostly spohn suspension on my build. except the pa racing kmember. the spohn pieces r really nice and feel real strong
