Well i had a tough time deciding between before/after the cat. since its got two cats id want two cutouts but i only had one so i put had it welded into the classic f-body location. i was thinking maybe nxt summer ill buy headers and sneak two cutouts there and swap for a different setup, as for now i am savvy wit what i gots

although i like the fact that i can go from loud and noticable, to sleek and tame with my quietflow wit the touch of a switch

jhp69 07-21-2009 08:48 PM

on my 88 i got shorty headers into a Y-pipe then the cutout then the high flow cat into the catback.... ive had it like this for a few years and now i rarely open the cutout anymore... if the car had any balls to back up the sound id deff open it more often lol

I don't get what your trying to say? My y-pipe can catch my driveshaft too. Both the x and y pipe wont save the floordboard without a loop though.

they're $25, just buy it new. fix your brakes first though

S.J.SLEEPER 07-26-2009 10:53 PM

you guys and your cutouts. your cutouts are TFL.....
too f*&kin loud. wakes my kids up.. weld them shut already will ya.
besides makes more torque with them closed. open them up @ the 60' mark and only use them @ the track you bunch of noise makers.

exhaust wont keep the drive shaft from hitting the floor.........in relation to the drive shaft the floor is up and the exhaust is down, you got lucky
