Project WHITE TRASH!

ubg was just cruising past the trailer park in Morrisville, Pennsyltucky, and the idea hit him to build a cool White Trash Camaro for his next project. It will have all the "wrong" things done to it, like primer finish on a beat up body, fake hood scoop riveted to the hood, jacked up WAAAAAAAAY too high in the azz end w/ air shocks, big azz bald tires sticking out of the wheel wells, mismatched, rusty mag wheels, big, loud azz pipes with exhaust leaks, Confederate flag on the rear window, roach clips hanging from the rear view mirror, etc. But the only thing ubg cannot decide upon is if he should use a late 2nd gen Camaro for the project, or a turd gen Camaro. ubg is leaning towards the turd gen, and they are REALLY cheap and readily available. Wadda you clowns think?

//<86TA>\\ 07-28-2009 06:24 PM

unfortunatly and 3rd gen would work best.

LTb1ow 07-28-2009 06:25 PM

Turd gen ftw!

FIcamaroRE92 07-28-2009 07:27 PM

I say second gen because that's what i pictured when i read your description...............

ib4200 07-28-2009 07:46 PM

you can buy most turd gens with the previously mentioned mods

JL8Jeff 07-28-2009 09:09 PM

Definitely needs to be a late 2nd gen if you want the rear jacked up, but you should also go with 15x10 wheels with the wrong offset so they stick out about 4-5". Corvette sidepipes should finish it off nicely too. Just make sure everything has rust or primer and you're all set!

GP99GT 07-28-2009 09:37 PM

footprint gas pedal

Miles 07-28-2009 09:40 PM

won't have to do too much to a turd gen...

Saitin 07-28-2009 10:14 PM

make sure to grow a mullet for when you go cruizzzen

Can't. ubg is bald. But I do have a mullet wig...

Mike 07-28-2009 11:44 PM

sounds like a waste of money

TAdan 07-29-2009 07:57 AM

I think it would be a really easy project. You could probably do it in a weekend. I'd pick up whatever you can find sooner, both should be readily available. have fun UBG!

What he said.

91chevywt 07-29-2009 12:07 PM

I imagine an early third gen. You could probably get one just how you described so that means less modding. If it doesn't smoke overfill the crankcase so it smokes too. Open stock exhaust manifolds would be cool too.

HeadlessNorseman 07-29-2009 01:25 PM

This would actually not be a bad idea if the car was actually fast, and not just a loud 305 carb or tpi or something.

procamaroz28 07-29-2009 01:42 PM

why not build up a nice turd gen the cost effective way..

I'll second that......

UBG.....hear me out....

You have the AMX close to finished, but in pursuit of the flying mile idea?? No?

You have the GN up for sale, to expedite the AMX goal? No?

Why throw good money after bad on such a horrible "project" that isn't really a project anyway. You could probably buy one already "done" and even then its a rolling POS.

Stay the course and either finish the AMX or Keep the GN and finish it, but don't sell the GN to build a clapped out camaro!

I think they have you working in the shiney sticker/fuzzy dice/air cleaner isle at the new job and you are experiencing a contact high from the smells/sensory overload.....Step away from all that crap and finish the AMX or GN.....

Peace

BonzoHansen 07-29-2009 05:46 PM

The turbo buick is sold....

I can understand the gentlemen who have concerns about this being a waste of cash, but see, ubg is looking to do this on the REAL cheap...nothing but junkyard pieces, and cast off parts from other peeps who are investing real dough in their rides. About the only big buck item ubg would be investing in is some nekkid lady mudflaps...lol

And the actual car, and insurance, and registration. just sounds like maximum headache with minimum return

thunder 07-30-2009 03:34 AM

ya it is a bit of a waste. but it might end up being really fun. or u may decide to make it a sleeper

Crayface 07-30-2009 05:36 AM

well if you want a turn gen i could sell you mine much cheaper than i am on craigslist, pm me if your interested

1QWIKBIRD 07-30-2009 05:53 PM
