LT1 wheel hub size

My buddy just got an Lt1 that needs tires so I was gonna let him use a set of my spare rims/tires. We went to go put on the rims/tires a few days ago and the rims would not slide onto the lt1 hub. The rims are standard 5 spoke camaro rims from an LS1 car. I thought they would be a direct bolt on, but it looks like I need either grind down some of the hub or rim. Anyone ever experience this?

Yes. Need to file some down on the hub.

I'm guessing he doesnt want my wheels?

I'm not sure. I have to talk to him. I have to pick up a panhard bar tomorrow...any chance you'll be around? I could probably swing by tomorrow. You ever take them out from under your house?
