Had a little free time today
 

So i painted my winter rims. THis is the only picture I have of them currently:

I also ordered new emblems so I'm probably gonna debadge the car tomorrow and put back on the headlights that have the whistler mod. Gonna make the car blacked out until the new emblems come in. I'll get a better pic of the rims tomorrow.

J/K of course. From what I can tell the rims look pretty good. What did you use to paint them?

CLASSIC !!!

I used high temp engine paint on them. They have about 5 coats on them. I tried clearing them, but it was too humid yesterday. I don't really care if they flake or not, becasue they are the winter rims, but I'm gonna drive around on them for a few days because I think they look pretty cool. Here's a better picture...they are pretty dark:D

wow thats exactly the same style wheels and project ive started with my camaro...looking slick.


what brand engine paint did you use....any sand blasting or pre treating???

I used RustOleum 500 degree engine paint.

Adam- Haven't had the chance to change out headlights yet. Probably do that tomorrow since I have the day off. I would probably go get it tinted tomorrow too, but need to save all I can with the current engine build.

I debadged the car today. Still haven't had a chance to change out the headlights yet, but here's how it looks so far. 2/3 of the way blacked out:

I personally like it and love the look of black on black. The whistler mod headlights will look sick.

VHT your rear turn things. That red jumps out way to much..

that was just to see how the winter wheels would look on the car. The chrome 5 spokes are on and I have new emblems that I just put on the car. I'll post pics up of it tomorrow.
