Last nights thunderstorm

From up north in Hawthorne, it was perfectly clear over head so I had great visibility. This storm looks like it was over Westchester County NY and NYC.

We had a storm just like that down here last night. The heat made for some great lightning shows.

Awesome pics Alex!

We had quite a storm down here too, during which I was watching some workmen from PSE&G repair one of our outdoor transformers at work that drops voltage from over 13,000 V to 4,160 V to bring in to our building at work. A splice blew and we lost one phase....it has not been a fun week here.

You bet - we inven....I mean, discovered Global Warming. And then we contributed to it with the fire caused by running several 480v 3 phase 50hp electric motors on just 2 phases.
