sweetbmxrider 08-23-2009 04:46 PM

chyea

NJ346 08-23-2009 07:05 PM

it's neither, since all it is is a shifter with no trans in the car...I win:wink:

Its a manual car, as long as thats the original console. You could change between auto/manual all you want but its always a manual car.

CamaroJoe1987 08-24-2009 03:19 PM

im sayin its a t-56 just btw the shifter looks, and cuz of the tiny plate above it that says where the gears r, lol...unless for some reason that isnt the original console

iroc86NJ 08-24-2009 08:48 PM

Looks like a T56 shifter with a line lock or purge added on... My 2cents

WildBillyT 08-24-2009 08:59 PM

I think it's an automatic being passed off as a manual ;)

MyFirstZ 08-24-2009 09:20 PM

i say manual because it looks like you are in nuetral and you have the e-brake up.

other wise i feel park for an auto would sit the shifter a little more forward but then look funky as hell in drive so i say manual.

okay but what if its in nuetral with the e-brake up and its an auto, it would sit somewhere over there? correct?

MyFirstZ 08-25-2009 05:46 AM

unless he has the shifter tweaked i dont think so. It possible.

V 08-25-2009 11:18 AM

i say auto...

just try driving a manual with a throw that long....
on mine, the bottom of shifter ball is like right even with the console plate.

edit:

yea... im def going with auto after seeing that other pic of it in drive ;-)
...my usertitle FTW

sweetbmxrider 08-25-2009 12:53 PM

true that would be a huge throw

WildBillyT 08-25-2009 12:56 PM

ummm the length of the stick has nothing to do with the throw of the shifter.

yea true, but i kinda meant throw as in "reach"

like when you put a short stick on it, you shorten the reach i guess you'd say, to make quicker shifts
