ehh i wouldnt try it... my hands were black wen i was done lol... recomends that u wear gloves and the last step is to "wash your hands thoroughly"

i bought the black box as well and its pretty good, its alot more work than maguires nxt tech wax and in my opinion come out about the same, if you follow the black box instructions your supposed to but the cleaner on and take it off with the provided spray detailer, then put the wax on and remove it again with the provided spray detailer and all of them have a black color to them so no white residue. I found the kit to be inexpensive for what you get. What i did for my car recently was wax it with the nxt tech wax then i wiped the whole car down with the black box spray detail and i was very satisfied and with half the time required to follow the black box by the rules

that spay made a mess so i didnt use it lol

i didnt think the spray was too bad...sprayed it into a microfiber and wiped it down. the spray is actually black too, it looks like a nice kit one of these says ill get ambitious and do the full process

lol mines been outside in the sun for 11 years and im quite happy... dam sun ruined the headlinder and sunvisors and almost the back seat top

HeadlessNorseman 08-29-2009 09:58 PM

dam shiny! looks good. i need to wash and wax my car sometime soon when i get a day off. Maybe ill try this stuff. I have meguiars tech wax but if you get even a tiny bit on any plastic it is stained white forever. sooo annoying!

MyFirstZ 08-30-2009 07:33 AM

yeah i loved this kit. I think i went a little over board on the spray though. i need another box for next time i wax it.

That sucks. My stock radio screen got hazed and so did my gear selector. Also my b piller right behind the t-tops is peeling clear coat with about a 6 inch section of clear missing......fun stuff. It needs a repaint BAD.

JerzLT1 08-30-2009 10:34 AM

Rob you can wax over where the clear coat peeled and itll make it hard to notice that its there
