I heard that too, but the trailer shows it being released on October 30th.

boondock saints just happens to be one of my favorite movies. it was once a ''cult'' favorite....which now after word of mouth has become a pretty popular movie...theyre just doing it for money...if it was for the story they wouldve done it 10 years ago right after the first one.

it was once a diamond among stones....now its just going to be another turd in the toilet

LTb1ow 09-09-2009 05:20 PM

Weren't they always going to make a sequel?

And isn't it the same director?

Saitin 09-09-2009 07:08 PM

They have been talking about it for years I never wanted them to do it cause it is never as good.
I'll see it just to see it but I doubt it'll be as good.

sweetbmxrider 09-09-2009 07:41 PM

as long as David Della Rocco makes an appearance, i'll be cool with it 8-)

''despite his self-titled characters death david della rocco is signed on to the sequel''

i remember reading that somewhere

sweetbmxrider 09-09-2009 08:00 PM

i heard he was going to appear in a vision or dream

on a side note, i convinced my religion teacher (catholic highschool - fml) that we should watch boondock saints for class. we did :)

+1

Doing a sequel at this point makes about as much sense as making Reservoir Dogs 2 "Mr. Brown's ***t Show"

1994lt1 09-09-2009 11:37 PM

My all time favorite movie. I cant wait to see the new one.

Wow....how did that go over?

bobb1589 09-13-2009 08:40 PM

definitely my all-time favorite movie... i just watched it today with a bunch of chicks frmo school that have never seen it... it was kind of annoying because i had to explain what was going on to tehm

NastyEllEssWon 09-14-2009 01:45 PM

yeah its not a movie that explains things out very easily....you have to actually watch it and not just ''watch'' it to understand it. especially since the priest in the beginning telling the story of kitty that was stabbed in broad daylight 30 years ago.....pretty much lays out the whole movie with the quote..

'' Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men.''

r0nin89 09-14-2009 03:18 PM

**** YES **** YES **** YES **** YES!

I've been waiting for this since the rumor mill started going after the 1st one.
