JS Performance Clutch

I had Josh from JSPerformance put one of his racing clutches in my car (didnt want to post until i drove on it a little bit) and holy **** does it grab hard. I drive my car to and from the track and to an occasional meet, the street manners arent as bad as Josh originally described but the track performance is much better then he gives himself credit for. while the car was up there i had Josh do the torque arm, trans fluid, oil change (Amsoil), change the diff fluid, and adjust my suspension and i couldnt be happier with the car. i went 11.89 on a 1.70 60' and the clutch grabbed hard enough to spin the slicks (blown shocks helped a little) without slipping. Now he has already ordered my strange adjustable shocks, struts, and springs and were looking into what gears would be best for my setup. thanks again Josh, the car is running better then i ever imagined

what kind of driving does the car see?

qwikz28 09-15-2009 06:25 PM

Josh- is this the same clutch in my car? That sucker is wild.

Jake- not really the same, i would say yours is one step below Josh's in clamping force.. Joshs is pretty much a full race unit for the LT1 cars..

I honestly can't. I have to wait a few seconds for the car in front of me to be a good distance away from me at a traffic light because the car simply goes. It is tough to explain but I'm sure you of all people know what I mean. I love that clutch.

yeah even with as little as my car gets driven on the street i know what you mean, its either going or not, theres no real slipping it. i like it like that though :)

I love it. It makes the car a blast to drive

So would this make my car fast?

JerzLT1 09-16-2009 03:10 PM

if you had a manual and knew how to drive then it would help ;)
