This was removed from an '89 Formula a few years ago....don't have any idea what it is. Any ideas?

I thought the cruse control was vacuum operated? Unless theres more to it then what Im thinking...

I was gonna say something to do with the cruise control as well. I remember pulling a box just like that off the top of my gas pedal bracket, and it had wiring coming into it from the column, and out into the engine bay somewhere.
