Somebody called our help desk all pissed off today and he got passed up the chain to me. When he asked my name I sure as hell wasn't going to give my real one so I told him my name was Kevin Dubrow. After all of my coworkers stopped laughing they asked who he was and I had to show them.

At my work, calls for the shop are usually paged over the loud speaker. One of my coworker's buddy always calls and gives fake names, and the lady at the front desk is none the wiser.

So one day I'm walking through the shop and hear on the loudspeaker,
"Ray park one, Ron Jeremy. Ray park one". :lol:

Needless the say the owner heard it also and wasn't happy.

One of the local apartment buildings makes us sign in to visit a friend's place and I may have put down BS names once or twice :lol:

What are you a child at a dorm or something? That ridiculous.

It's a private apartment building, my dorm freshman yr had people sign guests in/out but that makes more sense

Yeah it just seems silly. If ya know the person then buzz them in... My GFs college was like that. Sign in, wear a name tag, and someone ALWAYS had to be with you that went to the school. If you had to take a piss down the hall they had to go.

Was an all girls school though.

Thinking about it, the place is huge so I guess it's good for them to have some record of everyone that comes and goes in case something happens. there's like 20 floors & a penthouse...
