WTB: RS Camaro or W68 Firebird, 98-02 with Y87
 

I'm looking for a car for a friend of mine, either an 98-02 rs camaro or w68 bird (ie has ground effects.) y87 package highly preferred, and the newer the better. under 100k miles. preferred colors are nbm, silver, and red. all colors other than teal will be considered. cloth interior preferred. monsoon preferred. power locks/windows required. ttops required, no hard tops or verts.

If anyones selling a car or knows someone who is thats like this or close enough please let me know.

a z or ta would be considered but for the condition i'm looking for i doubt ill find one in the price range. (under 10k.)

no damage to the quarter panels or rocker panels will be accepted. none. every car ive looked at has had some serious damage to either of these panels.

I know he is looking for a v6.... I'm looking to sell my V8 because of past neck/ back surgery and I should be going in shortly for future back/ neck surgery.

for under 10k you can definately pick up a z or a trans am lol...gotta look at forums and craigslist though dont look at dealers

You can get a higher milage V8 car for under 10k but it is easier to get a lower milage V6 car for under 10k.. especially for the 98-02 models.. I believe he is looking for a car with under 100k miles for less then 10k..

i was just posting mine up, maybe it piqued interest. 104k is nothing for a ls1, car went right through state inspection facility with no problems. :wink:

but 12 and cjd's cars are a little more modified than id/he'd like.

if it was for me sure, but hes not a car guy and the stocker the better. and im broke with two cars already, so i dont need any more. :rofl:

i know you can definitely get the car im looking for or better for less than 10k, but im really looking for significantly under 100k, unless the price is really good, and the car needs to have as close to nothing wrong with it as possible (cosmetic inside and out, as well as mechanically.)

Did he find something? I know this is a really old thread, but figured I would check.

I have an 02 SOM v6 Camaro with 45,000 miles on it. RS GFX, etc.

It is lightly modified. Has nitrous installed, but never even went through a whole bottle.

Might be willing to part with her for the right price.
