why the hell would they destroy a classic car like that?

Knipps 09-20-2009 07:50 PM

to make a point.

There should be a PETA for cars. This is absolutely heartbreaking to watch.

69BirdX 09-21-2009 11:12 AM

Def cool to see the differnce in technology but they should die for crashin that 59

LS1Hawk 09-21-2009 11:19 AM

I would like to know where they got the '59 from. Did they go to a collector and say sell us your car so we can crash it? I can't imagine someone who collects/appreciates classic cars giving up a classic to be destroyed like that. You can see it was in very good condition, too.

They prob had it as a test car from 1959 and just never used it in the crash tests

yeah thats what it looks like. any respectable collector would not sell a car to be wrecked... even if it was a pretty penny.

ehhh...I know a guy with 4 '55s and 3 '57s just sitting in his yard for sale...i'd rather see them crash tested then rot away
