Toyota Engines...

friend has a 2002 toyota rav4..and is in need of a replacement engine..he knows little about cars so im trying to help him out..

anyone know of any sites i can look to with good rates on foreign motors? (hes in CT so local shops wont help much) - he would have to order the motor and get it installed up by him...

thanks!

honestly if he actualy likes that lil thing his best bet would be to buy another one, i cant imagine a similar year/model would be very expensive, prob around the cost of buying/installing a new engine

I agree, how did he blow the motor, those things will run upwards of 200k with no problems.

eh some of them, my gf has one and it only has 105k on it and it breaks down more than my 20 year old camaro lol

they are throw away cars anyways, when they break buy a new one they are cheap enough. unless there is a sentimental value behind it.
